Unilateral flow refers to the heat transfer medium flowing in from the right corner hole of the heat transfer plate and finally flows out of the corner hole on the right, and likewise, the heat transfer medium flowing in from the left corner hole finally flows out of the corner hole on the left. The diagonal flow refers to the flow of fluid from the right corner hole flowing from the left corner hole, or from the left corner hole flowing flow out of the right corner hole, showing the diagonal flow mode.

In terms of heat exchange efficiency, diagonal flow is better than unilateral flow, but the cost of unilateral flow is relatively low, so in the case of energy exchange efficiency, the unilateral flow form is generally used.

Plate Heat exchanger Gaskets can be divided into 3 forms depending on how they are installed on the heat transfer sheet

(1) Direct paste type, that is, after applying sealant on the gasket, it is glued directly to the installation tank of the heat transfer plate.

(2) Nail mosaic type, is the heat transfer plate on the design of the Assembly hole, in the edge of the gasket designed with a nail, the gasket into the installation tank, the nail set in the assembly hole.

(3) Buckle type, is designed on the edge of the gasket with a buckle nail, with a buckle nail will be sealed gasket buckle on the heat transfer plate. For the above 3 ways, the paste gasket structure is simple, processing is the easiest, but installation and disassembly is relatively troublesome. Mosaic and buckle gaskets are complex in structure and cumbersome to process, but are relatively easy to install and disassemble. Plate HEAT EXCHANGER GASKET According to the shape of the product profile is divided into symmetrical shape and asymmetric shape, symmetrical shape is generally used in diagonal flow of the plate, up and down the sealing surface are planar, along the horizontal face of the call, can be installed positive and negative. The asymmetric ground is planar, and the upper sealing surface can be plane, surface, bevel and so on.
